The PPM

PPM (Personally Procured Move), previously known as the DITY is the process in which the military family can move themselves on their PCS orders. Over the last several years, we have seen a surge in military families moving to do a PPM. In executing a PPM, you will have the option to choose how you move, when you move, and how much control on the process you want to have. In this section we will discuss everything you need to know from setting up the move, to your options, the “need to knows” that often get lost in translation, and what red flags you need to be on the look out for. At the end of the day, you will be more prepared to have the smooth move you want!
